Mercure Hotel Opens Its Doors in the Heart of Muscat, Offering a Luxurious Experience Reflecting the Authenticity of Omani Hospitality

Muscat, Oman – Mercure, the brand inspired by local character and part of the Accor global family, announced the opening of its first Mercure hotel in the capital, Muscat, under the patronage of His Excellency Azan bin Qasim Al-Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism. The hotel, named “Mercure Muscat,” embodies the essence of local exploration and authentic Omani hospitality.

The hotel boasts a prime strategic location, just 15 minutes from Muscat International Airport, providing easy access to commercial centers and government offices, catering to the needs of both business and leisure travelers.

The hotel features 186 rooms and suites, combining elegance and simplicity to create an authentic atmosphere, with panoramic views of the city, mountains, and sea. Arabic calligraphy adorns the walls of all guest rooms, while modern urban art enhances the building’s facade.

As the only hotel in the Mercure chain worldwide that features Arabic calligraphy in all guest rooms and graffiti art on its exterior, these creative artistic elements reflect the traditions of authentic Omani art, making Mercure Muscat an exceptional destination for travelers seeking rich cultural experiences blended with modern amenities, positioning it as one of the standout Mercure hotels.

Guests can enjoy a range of luxurious facilities, relaxing in the outdoor pool and jacuzzi on the seventh floor. The hotel also features a state-of-the-art fitness center and a tranquil spa offering tailored treatments.

For business events and special occasions, Mercure Muscat is equipped with versatile spaces for meetings and events accommodating over 450 guests.
